Experience the Epic Tyrannical Trilogy!

Tyrannical begins when a fallen high priest threatens to unleash a plague and wipe humanity from the Kingdom of Gowanor.

Four unlikely heroes are drawn together by duty, desperation, and promises they cannot break. A young blacksmith haunted by his father’s legacy. A wise priest who fears his own soul may not be beyond corruption. A skilled ranger whose loyalty ends with his sister and his fiancĂ©e. And an engineer chasing the glory of a forgotten kingdom in hopes of regaining his family’s honor.

Each carries their own burdens. Their own fears. But if they are to stand against the corruption taking hold of their world, they must first learn to trust one another and discover that the family they need may not be the one they were born into.

Book 1: The Corruption of the Priest is the beginning of an epic fantasy about legacy, sacrifice, faith, and the bonds of brothers that can change the course of history.

Meet the Champions!

GloridanThe Peacekeeper

Gloridan once dreamed of becoming a gladiator like his father. But after witnessing the man he admired lose himself to grief and madness, he swore never to follow the same path.

Content with his new life as a blacksmith, he is summoned by one of the high priests to a greater destiny. His journey will test not only his courage, but the very thing he fears most: that the strength needed to save the kingdom may be the same strength that destroyed his father.

Teekay – The Wiseman

For 1,000 years, Teekay has served as the High Priest of Nimajneb, the Guardian of Wind and Light. When his fellow high priest, Ent, abandoned the Cold Exodus and descended into corruption, Teekay remained behind, believing it was his duty to stand between the kingdom and the darkness his brother embraced.

Now, he must place his faith not in power, but in his allies. The greatest question he faces is not whether evil can be stopped. It’s whether anyone, no matter how righteous, is truly beyond corruption.

Adahm – The Lone Wolf

Raised in the solitude of the West, Adahm was taught from childhood that survival depends on vigilance, discipline, and the people beside you. After his father founded the Legion of Ocracy, Adahm dedicated his life to protecting the rangers who became his family.

Now the Legion’s captain, Adahm has little reason to trust the kingdom that ignored his father’s desperate pleas for help. As darkness rises, he must decide how far he is willing to go to protect the ones he loves.

Jay – The Puzzler

As the last living descendant of the legendary Jadylians, Jay has spent his life chasing the glory of the lost kingdom of Emaryn. Driven by the legacy his father never let him forget, he believes reclaiming Emaryn’s fabled Crowning Emerald will finally prove that his name still matters.

Unmoved by faith, Jay begins to question whether the treasure he seeks can truly fill the emptiness he’s carried for so long. In the end, he must decide what is worth more: reclaiming a forgotten throne, or discovering the family he never realized he needed.

Book 1: The Corruption of the Priest

Twenty years after the Cold Exodus – a mass departure that shattered the kingdom of Gowanor – the land remains broken and kingless, its people scattered and afraid. But when a fallen priest threatens to unleash a deadly plague, a young blacksmith is pulled from the forge and thrust into a desperate quest to save his people from extinction.

Gloridan, haunted by the deaths of his parents, must rise above grief and self-doubt to defeat this growing darkness. But first, he must assemble an unlikely team: a skilled ranger, an ingenious engineer, and another priest with the power of wind and light – each driven by motives that could either save or doom their mission.

As they journey through treacherous lands, facing witches, barbarians, and monstrous creatures, Gloridan struggles with what it truly means to be a hero. To achieve victory, he and his allies must learn to navigate the fine line between doing what’s right and doing what’s necessary to destroy evil.

In this battle against tyranny, even the noblest actions will carry a heavy price.

Author: Mason Komay

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the fantasy setting. Ever since I watched “The Lord of the Rings” for the first time (and a thousand times again), I knew I wanted to be a creator of epic, heroic fiction.

I started writing Tyrannical as a way to create a world for me and my brothers to live in. I wanted us to have this incredible fantasy realm where we could all escape to. I soon found myself so enthralled in this place that I didn’t ever want to leave it.

The world of Tyrannical isn’t just a product of my imagination. It’s a years-long invention of combined creativity and a passion for adventure.

I really hope you’ll enjoy reading this tale just as much as I enjoyed writing it.

Thank you!
